Trip To Paris

My wife and I recently went to Paris France to celebrate our 11th Wedding Anniversary. My wife and I wanted to go last year but it was not the right time. In any case, my wife and I went and had a GREAT time! We walked all over the place. We got on the bus and train some of the time but we walked back to the hotel almost everyday. It was really cool in that while walking we would see other things of interest. While there we went to the Eiffel Tower, Napoleon’s Grave, The Louve (Art), and lots of other areas. The pictures you see above are a few of the hundreds of pictures we took.

Besides spending time with my wife each day chilling, I had the opportunity to feature my Instrumental cd, “Mastered First” in several shops and restaurants. The music went over well with the people. If you ever decide to visit Paris don’t be surprised if you hear my music playing.

The people of France are really kind despite what some people think. Many people helped us out in regards to understanding the bus system, train system, and just general directions. When walking around, be sure to look up as the Eiffel Tower is a good landmark to know where you are. Base your navigation around that and you will be fine. We suggest getting a bus/metro pass so you can get around the city. It provides easy access to the city in that it allows you to jump on/off the bus/train at your leisure. Getting a Museum pass is up to you. Many of the museums were free (based on your time of visitation) and there is plenty to see. It just depends on how adventurous you are. Try to get a hotel near the Eiffel Tower so you can be centrally located to everything you want to see and visit. You won’t regret it.

Lots of the people of Paris speak English but it is better to approach them in French. You will be received better than asking then initially do they speak English. If they do, they will let you know.

I would like to encourage everyone to take time out for yourself and your family. Travel and see the world when you get a chance. This was a good trip for me and my wife. We are going to have to look at the globe and see where we may want to go next. Just know that you will get an update and a few pics.
